Who is Burgundy Dragon

Welcome to Burgundy Dragon, where the vibrant energy of Toronto, Canada meets the power of storytelling. At Burgundy Dragon, our passion is to connect with the hearts and minds of youth in Toronto and beyond.

Established by four close friends – Dylan Alsop, Zachary Barmaina, Ethan Ryckman, and David Carhart – our company was constructed on a foundation of shared visions, and collective experiences. We believe in art’s capacity to both mirror and mold societal narratives, especially when encapsulated within personal storytelling, documentary filmmaking, and live theatrical productions. We aim to amplify intersectional perspectives, inviting audiences to explore the rich tapestry of human experiences.

Since our inception, we've embarked on an exciting journey, crafting captivating short films, releasing thought-provoking books, broadcasting immersive audio plays, and staging bold theater productions. Our collaborative spirit has led us to work with esteemed organizations such as the Toronto Fringe Festival, local radio stations, and fellow production companies. Along the way, our dedication to excellence has been recognized with awards for our short films and glowing reviews in local newspapers for our theater productions.

Burgundy Dragon aspires to channel this wealth of experience into our present and upcoming creative ventures. We invite you to accompany us on a cerebral and emotional odyssey through the realm of storytelling, where narratives of profound consequence are woven, resonate, and inspire.
